Eames is engaged to support a financial services firm and have the pleasure of recruiting a DBA Specialist for one of our biggest regional client. This is a permanent role based in Singapore.
Job Description:
As an Application DBA Specialist, your role will require experience and solid working knowledge in the following areas:
- Supporting the operation of the organisation
- Supporting and working with the application team on DB requirements
- Responsible for DB Design, Architecture and Performance
- Providing technical guidance
- Testing and implementing new DB technologies
- Effectively manage DBAs support
Requirements
- Career background ideally stemming from a Financial Services sector
- Sound understanding and technical knowledge of various DB technologies
- Proven track record of performing as a DBA for at least 8 years
- Strong in scripting skills will be added advantage
- Ability to articulate ideas at both a business level and technical level
- Excellent communication skills
