Job Title - Desktop Support Engineer

One of our large telecommunications clients are currently undertaking a multi-year infrastructure transformation programme. As part of this, they are looking for a desktop support engineer who is a proficient at Windows desktop support, has knowledge of core networking to act as a 2nd line troubleshooting and problem solving engineer.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need the following experience

  • Can demonstrate previous experience of Windows and Microsoft based desktop and server support.
  • Strong connectivity (WAN/LAN) understanding and troubleshooting
  • Strong Active Directory + networking Protocols and support (DNS/DHCP)
  • Must be ok with on-site Shift work at the clients base in Stratford
  • Advantageous to have a level of scripting experience e.g. Powershell or VBScript
