A global bank with a strong Asian presence is looking for a Director level candidate to manage strategic initiatives in MIS Analytics for their Corporate Banking business.
The role sits within the Business Management function and will be overseeing initiatives such as the implementation of a new tool for analysing customer profitability and risk. They are ideally looking for strong business managers with good analytical skill sets and experience working with senior business stakeholders. Team management experience will also be important as there are plans to build a team under this person.
Main responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain critical MIS platform and be the SME for the platform regionally.
- Work with business to source and upload relevant data in to platform.
- Work with business to analyse trends in performance and risk.
- Participate in management discussion on risk management, business performance and process optimisation.
Skills / experience required:
- At least 10 years experience in MIS platforms and analytics, preferably in corporate banking.
- Project management of regional, multi-stakeholder projects in a banking environment.
- Able to influence key decision makers and comfortable interacting with senior management.
