The role:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with expertise in .NET/C# and Azure to lead our talented engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of skilled developers, architects, and engineers to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products aligned with business objectives.
The Day to Day:
Lead and mentor a team of .NET/C#/Azure engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive the design and development of complex software solutions using .NET/C# and Azure technologies, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural guidelines.
Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and excellence, encouraging team members to strive for continuous learning and development.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new tools and techniques to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) leading engineering teams in the development of .NET/C# applications, preferably in the financial services industry.
Strong technical expertise in .NET/C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, Azure Cloud Services, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and DevOps principles.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
