Role: Exposure Reporting Analyst

Salary: Up to £50,000 + bonus

My client is currently in search of an Exposure Reporting Analyst who will work within the Exposure Management team to maintain existing and develop new Exposure Management reports across the multiple lines of business.

Performance Objective & Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop risk BI dashboards and précis reporting as required.
  • Maintain and develop exposure workflows using Microsoft PowerApps.
  • Investigate the use of new technologies to improve workflows and reporting processes.
  • Compile and validate aggregation results for inclusion in group exposures.
  • Partake in ongoing projects and strive for improvement to current processes.
  • Work with the Lead Exposure Analyst to on-board new lines of business and exposures.

Assist with other Exposure Management duties as assigned by line manager.

Essential

Skills and Experience Specification:

  • Highly competent in building and deploying Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Highly competent with PowerApps, Excel, SQL queries, VBA, and BI analytics.
  • Creative focus and ability to create professional reports with good visual aesthetic.
  • Working knowledge of Aggregation and Modelling systems and associated processes.
  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Strong understanding of Reinsurance and Direct Insurance.
  • Strong organisational and workload management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong written skills.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

Desired

  • 4-5+ years' experience working in a similar or relevant role, with exposure to at least one of the major Catastrophe modelling systems such as RMS, AIR or CoreLogic.
  • Experience in Sequel Eclipse, TigerEye , AdvantageGo Exact and cloud data platforms.
