High growth international SaaS company specialising in the Insurance industry is currently looking for a Director of FP&A to join their London team. This is newly created position that will report to the CFO and is an ideal opportunity for a hands on experienced FP&A professional with SaaS experience who is looking to take ownership and build out a best in class FP&A function.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing regular and ad-hoc analysis reports and presentations for the CFO, CEO, shareholders, and Group Management Board
  • P&L /Cost / KPI / Variance analysis and other ad hoc analysis where required.
  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process working with all business verticals and group subsidiary CEOs providing analysis and guidance to senior stakeholders
  • Develop the 5-year plan, working closely with management to identify, develop and document the long-term vision and strategy
  • Work closely with Senior Managers, Directors and other non-finance individuals to assist with customer driven analysis
  • Support the production of customer contract value modelling and the impact of deal desk discounting
  • Analysis of insurance market placement data with a view to identifying business opportunities and market trends
  • Perform commercial analysis to understand and address the business' commercial needs, identifying opportunities for profit improvement and enhanced cash generation
  • Prepare and present sales analytics to identify and manage trends and opportunities
  • Support with financial and tax analysis of acquisition targets including the management and oversight of third party advisors
  • Recruitment, development and ongoing management of a small team of analysts to assist in the day to day delivery of the above deliverables

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Director or Head of FP&A role within the Software/SaaS industry - Essential
  • Extensive knowledge of budgeting and forecasting - Essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Software / SaaS KPIs - Essential
  • Excellent MS Excel & PowerPoint skills - Essential
  • Extensive leadership experience with a 'hands on' mindset
  • Proven Financial Modelling skills
  • Ability to positively influence stakeholders within the business
  • Ability to analyse data to 'tell the story' to senior stakeholders.
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified

This is a very unique position that will involve regular interaction with C-Suite stakeholders including the co-founders of the business and it is therefore essential that you have strong interpersonal skills. The company offers a hybrid flexible working environment but given the nature of the role, it is important the preferred candidate is able to spend 4/5 days in the office initially whilst they build the team and have regular face time with the key stakeholders.
