A boutique investment management firm, based in the West End of London, are looking to add a Fund Accountant to their small and close knit finance team.
The have a strong track record that they have built over the last 10+ years and a growing client base has resulted in the need for more headcount. Operating across a range of areas within investment management, this is a unique opportunity for a part/fully qualified accountant to gain exposure across an array products and business units.
Responsibilities include:
- Fund accounting: NAV and performance calculations, liaising with external third party providers, fund reporting and FX hedging
- Compliance: data collection and monitoring, liaising with external providers
- Client work: liaising with UHNW clients, review of client portfolios and as hoc project work when required
As a fund accountant, you should be:
- c2+ years experience within a fund accounting role (in house or fund administration)
- Strong technical knowledge of alternative investments, including regulatory knowledge
- Part/fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- Strong communication skills, be able to work part of a close knit team and have a desire to build your career in finance
