Rapidly growing Fund Manager is currently searching for a Fund Financial Controller to add to their existing team.

Having enjoyed enormous growth in the past 5 years in terms of headcount and portfolio value, they are looking to facilitate further growth with senior recruitment in the Fund Finance Department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Production of fund management information (investment performance data, monitoring new investments, etc.).
  • Administration of investor drawdowns, distributions, equalisations and general quarterly investor reporting.
  • Interrogation of financial models (supplied by project accountants) and collation of investment reports to monitor and evaluate project performance.
  • Financial due diligence of targeted investments.
  • Business Partnering across the wider commercial and deal teams, and liaising with the Asset Management team to optimise investment returns.

Requirements:

  • Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with up to four years post-qualified experience.
  • Experience within industry or practice of project and/or fund accounting.

With many junior staff to deal with basic accounting, the new hire's day-to-day tasks will consist of commercial and forward-thinking duties as well as project work across various accounts. Compensation consists of base salary upwards of £55,000 + performance based bonus circa 25% from your first year.
