This award winning national company are keen to hire a Graduate Underwriter to join their successful & profitable team which focuses on the development of their regional Engineering & Construction Underwriting book.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic underwriting growth plans.
- Coming up with innovative approaches to improve existing business growth
- Account management of own personal insurance broker panel and caseload, developing relationships via telephone and face-to-face.
- Pro-actively engage and build relationships with external partners to maximise opportunities and being aware of market developments.
- Proactive account review, analysis of underwriting trends and improvement plans implemented.
To be considered you must have a desire to move into the technical underwriting space, and a degree which correlates within the Engineering, Construction or Renewable Energy field.
This role can be located in either Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow or Birmingham
