We are working in partnership with a growing General Insurer who are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their team in London. This role reports to the Head of FP&A and Corporate Strategy and the successful candidate will have proven experience within FP&A from the insurance sector to play a key role in the next stage of the business's growth story.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of monthly performance against budget and forecasts
- Forecasting for the business & key involvement in the implementation of a new forecasting tool.
- Collaboration with various business units to help them understand their performance
- Driving & creating business cases for new initiatives and strategies
- Development and improvement of analytics and processes: automating processes and controls
- Provide analysis for senior leaders, Board and other internal and external stakeholders
- Ownership of finance MI including redesigning existing MI, automating processes and drive efficiencies
Requirements:
- Recently Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Proven experience working in the Insurance Industry within an FP&A role (Ideally General Insurance or Personal Lines)
- Inquisitive mindset and the willingness to challenge the status quo
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Strong Financial modelling experience
