Job Description


I'm currently working with a very well-regarded Lloyd's Syndicate on the appointment of a Head of Claims. As a member of the Executive Team, the Head of Claims will be accountable for effective leadership of the claims function through development of claims strategy, leading improvement initiatives, ensuring best practice, and through representing the claims function at Exco meetings/committees, as well as externally to the wider market.

The Head of Claims will be responsible for the management of the claims operations function, as well as a highly technical claims team, operating across several classes. It's essential that applicants have proven experience in leadership positions, whether that be in a previous Head of Claims/Claims Manager role, or as Partner/Junior Partner/Director in legal practice. International Litigation experience is also highly desirable.
