A rare opportunity to join a boutique venture capital fund in a broad and hands-on role, covering everything across Finance, Compliance and Investor Relations support in a standalone role, ideally suited to an experienced Funds Finance professional looking to join a business as it professionalises back and middle office.
With an established track record of success and a growing portfolio of UK start-ups, the fund is upskilling the non-investment side of the company, with this role suited to someone with previous experience of working in a funds environment. The role will be to support the Partners and investment team overseeing all aspects of funds finance, fund operations, internal accounting, compliance oversight, investor relations support, HR, legal, IT, office management, and so on. The preference is for someone who is a Finance professional happy to pick up compliance oversight and monitoring, as well as investor relations.
The Partners are looking for someone with formal accounting qualifications and a background in Finance at a SME organisation, ideally a funds business. Ideally, you will have operated at a mid to senior level - ie: Finance Manager or FC level - and are comfortable being hands-on and operating autonomously. Given the size of the firm, personality is key with the need for someone confident, outgoing, friendly, and approachable.
Salary on offer is £90-100k base plus benefits and bonus.
Central London location, hybrid working 3 a week in the office, and lots of potential to grow with the business over the long term.
