The Role
- Provide expertise in relation to IT and infosec controls to prepare the bank for emerging cyber threats.
- Carry out cyber security threat response and vulnerability management to stress test the current defence protocols.
- Implement cyber security into software release cycles, to maintain defence integrity throughout development processes.
- Provide support to the IAM team to help galvanize the banks external access routes.
- Perform regular audits on the bank's behalf, to keep up with the latest regulatory demands.
- Carry out supplier security due diligence and assurance to update the bank partners with recent cyber incidents and responses.
Skills and Experience
- An understanding of financial services is preferable, particularly in financial technology.
- 1-2 years' experience working with public cloud computing and security.
- A good understanding of security architecture and engineering.
- Knowledge of supply chain risk management.
- Familiarity with supplier assurance principles.
- An effective communicator, in person and in writing.
- A strong understanding of offensive security principles.
- 1-2 years' experience project planning and delivery skills within the cyber security space.
