My client is a Financial Authority in Hong Kong looking for an Infrastructure Architect to lead the Infrastructure projects and oversees the workplace technologies team.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop the organization's technology infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networks, security components and hybrid cloud technologies, based on business requirements and industry best practices
Provide technical governance over the products used in the organization
Collaborate with security teams to design and implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Create and maintain detailed documentation of the infrastructure architecture, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT colleagues, system administrators, and network engineers, to implement infrastructure projects and provide guidance and leadership
Work closely with business stakeholders and IT counterparties to understand their infrastructure requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs
Qualifications:
University degree in computer science, software engineering or related fields
At least three years of experience in infrastructure architecture, design and implementation
Strong knowledge of server platforms, storage systems, networking technologies, and security principles
Experience in virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and containerization
Familiarity with infrastructure automation, configuration management tools, disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Relevant certifications on Public Cloud, server and desktop virtualisation a plus
