Job Description

A leading global insurance and asset management company have taken the decision to invest even more resources into their data analytics capability within group internal audit. They are already leaders in embedding the use of data in internal audit, with an established team of data specialists but they've decided to go further and grow the team even more with two additional hires.

This expansion shows the confidence and cash position of the firm with their willingness to hire during a period of economic strain. One of these new positions will be based in London and work alongside audit teams covering all their business lines including insurance and asset management. You will gain knowledge around the products, processes, risks and regulations which underpin a financial services company, along with expertise in the methodologies employed by internal audit professionals in the 3rd line of defence. At the same time you will be able to enhance and develop your data and technology skills, working alongside other experienced data analysts as well as your audit colleagues.

Internal Audit departments across the wider marketplace are investing significant sums in developing and enhancing their use of data analytics and there is a lucrative and rewarding career path for professionals who can combine their knowledge of data analysis along with its practical application within an audit context.

Should you have data skills and be interested in discussing how these can be utilized in an internal audit role, then please apply or get in touch with David Stacey at Eames Consulting.
