Job Description
● Support the setup on the settlement processes of investment products such as investment funds to improve the efficiency of the business
● Support investment operation, such as account opening, product set-up, subscription, redemption, trade settlement verification and reconciliation, corporate action handling
● Follow up with fund houses, trade counterparties and custodian for settlement and trade related events
● Provide advice to the investment operations team to support business as usual (BAU) services and enhance investment operations capabilities
● Develop and maintain procedures and controls within investment operations to ensure compliance with the Bank's guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements
● Resolve escalated risks and issues in a timely manner
● Participate and/or leading investment operations projects, working closely with the project teams to ensure efficient and effective implementation
● Participate in system development projects including UAT, system enhancement and other ad-hoc projects
● Design operational procedures document that guides colleagues to comply with company policies, rules and regulations
Job Requirements
● University graduated in Finance, Business Administration or relevant discipline
● Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in banking or investment operations in relation to the processing and settlement of investment funds
● Knowledge of investment operations of investment funds and understanding on the operations of fund houses and investment fund distributors are preferred
● Able to perform team work & collaborate with subordinates
● Good interpersonal and communication skills
● Good sense of risk awareness
● Strong problem-solving skills and capability to adapt to changes
