Java Developer required by one of the leading FinTech companies in London on a contract basis, working on an entirely greenfield platform which will cater for millions of daily users.
The Java Developer will be expected to conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging as well recommending changes to improve established java application processes within an Agile environment.
Due to the nature of the role, the Java Developer will need the following experience:
- Java 7/8 experience (Java 8 is preferable)
- Spring MVC framework skills
- NoSQL skills
- Good unit testing (TDD/BDD)
- Some JavaScript experience would be a positive
- Experience developing large, scalable interfaces
- Understanding of best practices – eg. SOLID principles
