Java Developer

  • £90k + Bonus - 12 month FTC

Job Purpose: In line with our commitment to extending valuable advice, we are establishing a new wealth management service tailored for the next generation of clients. This initiative aims to empower individuals in planning and navigating their financial futures by leveraging cutting-edge digital product design and wealth management expertise.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Java Engineer to join our team, contributing to the development of innovative, reliable, and robust web-based software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in Java application development, particularly within the Spring framework.

Qualifications:

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven expertise in back-end development
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot
  • Extensive experience with Maven, JUnit
  • Proficient in GIT version control system
  • Expertise in API development
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Familiarity with design patterns
  • Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Azure
  • Previous involvement in agile, iterative engineering environments
