My client is aspiring to become the most successful savings and investment business and is therefore looking for a DevSecOps Lead to join their team on this mission. The company is undergoing a digital transformation and extensively investing in technology and innovation in order to provide new improved customer propositions that truly exceed their customers' expectations. To ensure the client achieves their company goals, they are looking for a DevSecOps lead who would live their values and behaviors by inspiring others, embracing change, delivering results and keeping it simple.
The ideal DevSecOps candidate will:
- Be a technical security specialist and will be able work with a variety of stakeholders (including IT, the business and strategic technology partners) so the business can remain a security first approach
- Cloud security and application security experience as this forms a huge part of strategy for the next few years
- Someone with hands on engineering skills so they can securely build in the Cloud
- Ability to engage with people, work collaboratively with other teams to maintain supportive work culture and effectively exchange information
- Ability to come up with new approaches to security to sustain innovation and promote progression
- Have hands on Azure knowledge
- Have general knowledge of Java
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting integration of security requirements into all stages of an DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Working with security engineers, security consultants and application security experts to create the enterprise's security architecture and automate the integration of security into change pipelines
- Supporting products that are being delivered by DevOps and the customers that will use them
- Supporting the environments in which DevOps systems are hosted as well as networks that connect and access them
- Ensuring security is thoroughly incorporated into the developer's and operator's world
- Evaluating the output of automated security testing tools and providing advice, guidance, and recommendations on the best course of action for resolving issues
