Job Description

A global investment manager with strategies across private equity, direct lending, and liquid credit is looking to appoint a middle office associate into its growing credit platform.

The credit side of the business is fairly new and is experiencing tremendous growth. Thanks to a tonne of external and internal capital pouring into the strategy, the team is now growing.

The middle office associate is a newly created role and will sit in the wider London finance and operations function. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join an established business, working on a brand-new strategy that has ambitions to double the AUM in the near future. The role has plenty of scope for long-term development, which includes an opportunity to build out a new team.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Oversight and review of external loan servicing administrators to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Coordinating loan servicing and settlements between the front office and outsourced administrators.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for the wider credit operations team.
  • Cash flow reconciliations.
  • Assisting with investor queries.
  • Implementation, review, and continuous improvement of operational processes.
  • Involvement in and support for ongoing and upcoming strategic projects across the function.

Requirements include:

  • Approximately 4-6 years of experience loan servicing - settlements, reconciliations etc
  • Expertise in middle office loan servicing and settlement, and trade support;
  • CLO experience would be advantageous

Compensation on offer is circa £75,000-90,000, including a performance-based bonus and a wider benefits package. The firm operates a hybrid working model.
