Job Description

A boutique London-based Private Equity Fund is looking to appoint a part-qualified/finalist-level accountant to its finance team.

The fund has a solid track record with circa £1 billion AUM and is due to close its latest fund despite challenging market conditions.

The role is newly created and will sit on the corporate side, responsible for the day-to-day management accounts initially, with the plan to transition into a more heavily funds-focused role, offering the opportunity for the individual to pick up fund accounting.

The firm operates a hybrid working model, and the culture is closely knit given the size. A study support package is on offer, with a salary in the region of £40,000-£55,000, depending on the level of experience. There is a discretionary performance-based bonus and wider benefits to accompany this.

Requirements:

  • Undertaking an accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or equivalent
  • Circa 2-3 years' experience in a management/financial accounting role
  • Alternative investments background is preferred however open to considering other industries
  • Experience using Sage is highly advantageous
