As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, developing and implementing our engineering strategy, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and solutions.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the entire engineering organization, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
Develop and implement a comprehensive engineering strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
Oversee all aspects of the engineering lifecycle, from product ideation and design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent across various disciplines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including product, marketing, sales, and operations.
Champion and implement best practices in software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Manage engineering budgets and resources effectively.
Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs for the engineering team and track progress towards goals.
Stay current with the latest engineering trends and technologies and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Represent the engineering organization at the executive level and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in technology delivery in financial organizations
Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams with experience in different engineering patterns.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile, SCRUM and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
Experience in working with cloud native environment such as AWS or Azure Cloud platform
Experience in developing and implementing engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent.
