Global commodity trading and supply chain group have a fantastic opportunity for an established management level market risk professional to join their Singapore office. The business have a mid sized platform in Singapore with strong commercial transparency and an excellent work culture. You would assume immediate management responsibility for a team of 4 staff.
You will focus on regional (SE Asia) trade flows across Grains, Oilseeds, Cotton, Sugar, Coffee and Freight across physical and forward markets. Principal geographies will include Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, India and China.
An understanding of the physical commodity supply chain (including structured transactions), a quantitative mindset and some technical proficiency in programming or statistical packages such as Python or R would be beneifical. Our client are happy to look at candidates from the softs, metals and liquids space.
