Eames Consulting has partnered with a top syndicate that is looking to speak to Catastrophe Risk professionals with experience in model validation and development. This is an excellent opportunity for a R&D Analyst to kick start a career in contracting or an experience modeller with some experience validating Catastrophe Modellers to move into a role solely focused on model validation.
The successful candidate will join an established R&D function and work with some of the best researchers in the industry to develop and maintain this syndicates view of risk. This role involves keeping up to date with model vendor developments and updates, scientific opinions, market trends and changes, climate change, and underwriting objectives, in addition to validating vendor models and providing technical advice to Exposure Management functions.
While the ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience working in a Catastrophe Research role and based in London remote candidates and those with 1-2 years of experience validating Catastrophe Models will be considered.
