One of the Big4’s award-winning professional services are currently seeking a part-qualified actuarial consultant to join their Life Actuarial team.
The successful candidate will be working with the technical and sector specialists on a range of actuarial projects covering capital management, modelling, Solvency II, IFRS, and much more.
Your experiences & background:
- Part-qualified actuary (on track to qualify within 5 years) with practical actuarial experience at a life insurer/consultancy
- Knowledge of Economic Capital and experience in modelling projects
- Proficient knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and FCA returns
- Knowledge of overseas reporting methodologies (US GAAP)
- Modelling skills (e.g Prophet, MoSes, VBA)
- Knowledge of life assurance products and with-profits products is essential
The successful candidate must also possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
