A leading Lloyd’s syndicate is seeking a part-qualified actuary to focus on reserving duties and report directly into the head of pricing. This is focused across all underwritten lines of business and will involve a high level of interaction with the underwriters and other actuarial functions. This is a broad role and will also include some aspects of pricing.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years GI experience in either pricing or reserving and be making demonstrable progress through the actuarial exams. Actuarial candidates from all general insurance backgrounds will be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a role with a broad remit for this level, gain exposure to the underwriters, work across multiple lines of business and get a taste of pricing.
