We are looking for a Performance Test Lead for a prominent insurance company with offices across different locations in UK. This is a offers the opportunity to be part of a company witnessing great transformation.
You will have extensive experience in performance test engineering, having used different systems and technologies. You will also be experienced in identifying performance problems early in the development life cycle. You will also need to have experience in coaching and mentoring performance test engineers. Having worked with DevOps and in Agile and lean environments is also required. Experience of creating test data strategies is highly desirable
The salary is £90k, depending on skills and experience. This is the ideal opportunity to be the senior technical leader for all responsibilities related to performance test engineering, including the performance test strategy. You will also be key in a non-functional test capability, which is essential in improving performance testing. Lastly, you will engage with business owners so they understand performance risks.
Essential skills and qualifications
Experience in test performance test engineering.
Experience identifying performance problems early in the development life cycle
Experience in coaching and mentoring performance test engineers.
Knowledge of non-functional test capability.
Experience in DevOps and in Agile and lean environments
