A successful multinational insurer is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst to join their personal lines pricing function based in Surrey.
The role will involve producing monthly reports within set timeframes, increasing efficiency of report process through automation of tasks VBA macros or SAS.
In addition you will be responsible for the monitoring of models to ensure they remain suitable for purpose, data reconciliation to ensure data accuracy for all projects and presentations to different committees.
Candidates will need:
- Degree educated in a numerical discipline mathematics, economics, science or similar subject.
- 2 years experience of working within a similar actuarial , pricing or statistics role within general insurance.
- Preferably some experience of machine learning and alternative model forms.
- Clear communication style with a passion for working with numbers and playing with data.
- To be technically proficient in the use of SAS QlikView, and Excel
- It is beneficial to have an understanding of Radar.
