An established insurer is looking for a Nearly Qualified Actuary to join their pricing team, helping lead their Energy and Home Services Lines.
The responsibilities of this role will include developing pricing strategies across their Lines of business. The candidate will keep track of any complex price changes and the impacts that then follow and ensuring that the pricing strategies are on par with or surpassing that of their competitors.
As well as this, the role will require the candidate to often liaise with stakeholders and other members of staff, mentoring more junior colleagues and thus will call for great communications skills.
The ideal candidate will have numerous years of experience within the General Insurance industry, with a focus on Pricing within Personal Lines. The candidate will have proven excellent exam results, as a graduate within a quantitative discipline (or equivalent) and progressing through the Actuarial exams. The candidate should have knowledge of the following tools: SAS, R, SQL, Radar and Earnix.
