Principal Service Operations

A Global Investment bank is providing an exciting opportunity for an experienced team leader to provide guidance and support for the Service Operations . The role will require you to collaborate and manage outsourced service desk alongside several other suppliers in the deliverance of technical and operational IT services to the Bank. You'll be working directly under the Director Of Service Operations collaborating closely to achieve improvements for all processes and services relating to Infrastrucuture and Operations.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • You'll be expected to manage 3rd party vendors supplying Infrastructure and Operation Services (Services Desk) on a daily basis .This will require you to provide supplier lifecycle management of all tickets logged .
  • Expected to provide oversight to 3rd party vendors ITIL processes in relation to Monitoring & Event Management, Major Incident, Incident, Problem, Access, Knowledge Management & Request fulfilment.
  • Producing Service statistics required by Infrastructure and Operations department for internal and external reporting
  • Ensuring quality of service and performance of the service desk provider by reviewing daily activity .
  • Improvements to all services related to outsourced services for Infrastructure and Operations
  • ITIL accredited
