A hugely successful world class organisation is looking to appoint a principal technical accounting advisor to be based within their Singapore centre of excellence. This is a superb opportunity for a Big 4 technical accounting professional (director level) looking to step out into a commercial environment.
About the role / key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing assistance in the interpretation and application of accounting standards and policies, ensuring consistent integrity of external and internal reporting. You will provide advice to the business on the necessary accounting treatments for specific initiatives, and provide training to stakeholders in IFRS and Group accounting policies. In partnership with counterparts globally, you will also keep abreast of changes to accounting and reporting standards and effectively implement/roll these out across the business.
Candidate requirements:
- Chartered accountant
- Big 4 experience - senior manager / director level
- Vast knowledge and experience of financial instruments and revenue recognition under IFRS
