One of our large financial services clients are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the team as part of a data centre transformation programme.
You will only be considered for this role, if you have the following experience specifically:
- Must have experience of working specifically on a co-located data centre migration programme. You must have previously project managed a migration from one hosted data centre encompassing a large set of applications and supporting infrastructure (Preferably Microsoft infrastructure) to a co-located data centre, which will preferably consist of designing a strategy to migrating half to a 3rd party data centre and half being migrated to another Azure cloud based data centre.
- Must have experience migrating multiple applications (circa 120) and supporting infrastructure from one data centre to another. This also encompasses data centre strategy, procurement, governance and set up, ready for the migration.
- Considered a Project Management SME in a range of Data Centre service delivery models, e.g. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and hybrid cloud models.
- It would be highly advantageous to have the following; data centre delivery experience across multiple geographies, exposure/understanding to a range of apps (bespoke in-house developed and off-shelf) and preferably Microsoft infrastructure.
