A Claims Analyst is needed to join a Stamford, CT-based claims team, reporting to the Insurance Claims Team Leader. The role involves managing a specific portfolio of standard treaty reinsurance claims, analyzing, monitoring, reporting, and processing them. The client is a global reinsurer offering various reinsurance products, including Professional Liability, General Liability, Workers' Comp, and Property.

The role involves verifying and recording cash-loss requests, evaluating exposures, handling reinsurance claims, and communicating with clients and partners. It involves handling property, Workers' Comp, General Liability, and Professional Liability claims, ensuring proper communication, managing claims in accordance with department policies, and participating in routine quality audits.

The job requires a university degree, five to ten years of experience managing claims, solid insurance understanding, US claims business knowledge, proficiency in Word and Excel, workflow systems, and reporting tools, and the ability to work independently and professionally.
