Eames are working on an exciting opportunity with a leading Lloyd's syndicate who are looking to hire a Reinsurance Technician to join their London team.
This is a great opportunity for any junior candidates with a few years of experience withing the syndicate market in reinsurance, looking to join a reputable Lloyd's syndicate to expand their career. This role is also available for more senior candidates looking for a part time position at a prorata basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Deal with reinsurance purchased by the Syndicate and assist with the quarterly Reinsurance close.
- Meeting all relevant regulatory requirements
- Assisting in the development of junior colleagues and collate information for insurers when required.
- Assisting with calculating premium adjustments as required.
Skills/Knowledge required:
- 3 years or more of Experience within the London Reinsurance Market
- Analytical knowledge of good level, including data analytics
- Experience of mentoring and training junior members of team to basics aspects of RI processing.
- Full knowledge of the LORS system
