Job Description

A leading specialty underwriting business operating within the Lloyd's of London market is looking to appoint a permanent Reporting Accountant.

Sitting in the London headquarters, the Reporting Accountant will take on a varied workload consisting of the preparation of both internal and external reports of the department. These include, quarterly Group reporting, Lloyd’s regulatory reporting, management reporting, as well as finance project work.

In addition to the above, there will be some elements of Syndicate Accounting, including data review, liaising with the actuarial and underwriting teams, producing management reports as well as regulatory returns. 

The successful applicant

To be considered for this role you must be a Qualified Accountant and have prior experience of the Lloyd's Insurance market, either as an Accountant or Auditor. Sound knowledge of UK GAAP and Lloyd's accounting/reporting rules is essential. 

Exposure to US GAAP and SOX reporting will be highly beneficial but not essential.
