A well-established insurer is looking for an experienced, qualified actuary to join their General Insurance Reserving Team.

The responsibilities of this role includes supporting the ongoing testing, analysis and development of reserving models and preparing reports of claims reserving, SII, financial planning and management reporting.

The candidate will lead a team of 3 and will be responsible for feeding information back to the Pricing Team. Thus, the candidate should have great communication skills in order to effectively be able to coach/train younger analysts and liaise with numerous colleagues from different teams.

The ideal candidate will have high competency in numerical skills, with a mathematical degree (or similar discipline) and will be a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or equivalent). Candidates must be experience in a reserving actuarial role, reporting and Solvency II, as well as having experience in using SAS, SQL and VBA.
