My client, a global leading insurer, is looking for a senior accountant to join their team in Amsterdam and is paying up to €55,000 for the right candidate.
You will be reporting into the finance manager, and will be responsible for maintaining the ledger and and all relevant financial controls. Other duties may include expense reporting, tax filing preparation, and investment accounting.
As the ideal candidate, you will have experience working at or knowledge of how a general insurance company works. You will also have a good understanding of risks and controls, along strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, Local GAAP, etc). Your MS Excel skills and experience with financial accounting systems (CODA) will be looked upon favourably.
