Eames Consulting are partnered with a highly reputable, multi strategy Private Equity firm that has been at the forefront of the private market investments space for many decades, with their search for a senior Liquidity Risk professional.
Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the liquidity risk management framework for their suite of funds - specifically focusing on semi-illiquid assets. You will manage products that have specific considerations that require intricate oversight and monitoring, that directly influences the investment management strategy.
In addition, you will provide oversight of portfolio specific credit risks and wider risk mitigation strategies.
Duties -
- Support the development and implementation of liquidity risk models for open ended and closed ended funds
- Work closely with the Investment / Portfolio Managers to understand the fund strategies and ensure transactions are within the model guidelines
- Setting liquidity budgets, capital reserve monitoring and detailed scenario testing.
- Monitor the liquidity risk portfolios, providing advisory commentary of liquidity budgets to internal stakeholders
- Provide oversight of risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor the credit risk within the portfolios, including setting credit risk limits to all funds
Knowledge and experience -
- MUST have experience in a similar liquidity risk role that covers semi-liquid or open-ended products
- Experience within Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Asset Management or Brokerage would be appropriate
- Strong academic record with high degree of quantitative skills
- Understanding of typical portfolio hedging strategies
- An experienced user and designer of quantitative models
- Can provide effective oversight of dynamic financial datasets
- Comfortable interacting with stakeholders across a multi jurisdictional business
- Can reach evidence based conclusions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
CIty based office location with an office presence expectation of 3 working days per week.
