An international bank is setting up a new team delivering virtual and digital banking products and is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead the design and delivery of analytics solutions. This is a strategic hire responsible for building the Data Science capability working closely with business stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing analytics strategies and implementing solutions to support business initiatives. They are ideally looking for candidates from a strong technical background in machine learning with business experience. You have to be someone who is excited about pushing boundaries and possess a ‘start-up’ mind-set to excel in the role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Working with business stakeholders on determining business strategies and requirements
- Build enterprise data analytics capabilities, reporting dashboards and Machine Learning environment
- Use predictive modelling to build new products to optimise customer experience and revenue generation
- Presenting data insights and strategies to senior management and stakeholders
Skills / Experience Required:
- Postgraduate qualifications in Machine Learning / Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Science
- At least 6 years working experience in data science
- Strong coding skill sets (R, Python, SQL, etc.)
- Deep experience in machine learning techniques
- Working knowledge of visualisation tools such as Tableau
- Ability to communicate complex insights in an actionable manner
