Senior Developer

Manchester / Remote

Salary up to £50k + BONUS

The Client is a cutting-edge financial technology company revolutionizing the mortgage industry. We are dedicated to simplifying and streamlining the mortgage process, making it faster, more efficient, and accessible to all. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team of innovators, working with the latest technologies in C#, .NET, and MVC.

As a Senior Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our mission of transforming the mortgage industry. You will have the opportunity to work on the development and enhancement of our mortgage fintech platform using C# and .NET technologies, with a focus on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) framework. This role offers a chance to work on challenging projects, collaborate with a talented team, and drive innovation in the fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET, and the MVC framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
  • Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure high-quality software development practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of the platform.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Lead the Scrum teams - no previous leadership experience needed, but advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong experience in C# and .NET development, with a focus on MVC.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
