Senior .NET Developer - Leading Insurance Company
London - Hybrid (2 days in office)
A leading provider of innovative solutions in the insurance industry is seeking a talented Senior .NET Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure and microservices architecture, prepared to play a key role in developing and maintaining next-generation insurance solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will design, implement, and deploy scalable and resilient software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our insurance clients.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain .NET Core microservices-based applications on the Azure cloud platform.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design, code, test, deploy, and monitor microservices using best practices and modern development tools.
Implement security, performance, and scalability enhancements to ensure optimal system performance.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development, with expertise in .NET Core.
Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
Experience with modern development tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid remote/in-office environment
