Senior .NET Developer - Leading Insurance Company

London - Hybrid (2 days in office)

A leading provider of innovative solutions in the insurance industry is seeking a talented Senior .NET Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure and microservices architecture, prepared to play a key role in developing and maintaining next-generation insurance solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will design, implement, and deploy scalable and resilient software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our insurance clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain .NET Core microservices-based applications on the Azure cloud platform.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Design, code, test, deploy, and monitor microservices using best practices and modern development tools.

  • Implement security, performance, and scalability enhancements to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

  • Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.

  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development, with expertise in .NET Core.

  • Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.

  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.

  • Experience with modern development tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid remote/in-office environment
