Responsibilities:
- Ledger control and preparation of regulatory and tax returns (MAS, IRAS).
- Ensure data is correctly captured and processed in the finance system in order to prepare detail reports and analyses.
- Perform reconciliations of the financial data on a regular basis, and investigate to confirm all items are properly followed up and resolved.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting, presenting in detail any variances to business plans or forecasts.
- Maintain close relationship with shared service centre, to make certain all administrative activities are entered in a timely fashion.
- Actively participate in business transformation and additional ad-hoc projects as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance, or related field.
- 6 years in a finance role with exposure to regulatory functions.
- Minimum 3 years' experience within the insurance industry, either through direct exposure or through audit.
- Proven ability to show initiative and stay organised, to ensure top-level delivery.
- Highly collaborative with excellent communications skills.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP required.
