Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ledger control and preparation of regulatory and tax returns (MAS, IRAS).
  • Ensure data is correctly captured and processed in the finance system in order to prepare detail reports and analyses.
  • Perform reconciliations of the financial data on a regular basis, and investigate to confirm all items are properly followed up and resolved.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting, presenting in detail any variances to business plans or forecasts.
  • Maintain close relationship with shared service centre, to make certain all administrative activities are entered in a timely fashion.
  • Actively participate in business transformation and additional ad-hoc projects as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance, or related field.
  • 6 years in a finance role with exposure to regulatory functions.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the insurance industry, either through direct exposure or through audit.
  • Proven ability to show initiative and stay organised, to ensure top-level delivery.
  • Highly collaborative with excellent communications skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP required.
