A new opportunity has arisen for some with significant experience of leading project related audits in a regulated financial services environment. As senior manager you will have responsibility for a portfolio of projects and change management audits and as such, a project management qualification such as Prince 2, PMI or MSP would be extremely useful alongside more traditional audit qualifications.
In this forward thinking organisation, internal audit are included in the conversation from the very beginning of large scale projects and it is the responsibility of this small group of project management auditors to ensure that good governance is built into the project from the ground up. This is a new team and one which both the firm and their regulators will be expecting to deliver high quality assurance work.
