An established composite reinsurer is currently growing their insurance solutions team with ground-breaking expertise for their Greater China business partners which will involve both life and general insurance products.
What the role entails:
- Member of the solutions team to assist in propositions and solutions design
- Collaborate with the head of strategy and insurance channels and in sharing best practices
- Translate internal and business partner ideas, requirements, designs & prototypes into innovative products and services
- Define features and develop reinsurance words and pricings whilst providing input for product implementations on digital platforms.
- Have a proactive approach in communicating the development progress across the business and to the external partners and act as a product manager. Take ownership of the whole progress from initiation to launch.
- In parallel, ensure that the insurance products and services meet the overall business revenue targets.
- Develop and leverage a strong network across Greater China to have insights to partnerships opportunities. Research, and monitor different market trends and business leads.
- Represent the reinsurer at market and industry events.
What they are looking for:
- Experience in the Life / GI insurance markets with strong product development background
- Actuarial qualifications with a predictive modelling background
- Strong track record of building rapport at the senior executive level
- Openness to learn about consumer technology and financial services industries
- Proven ability and track record of developing innovative insurance products e.g. digital, start-ups
- Excellent communication skills that is open and transparent
- Driven and proactive approach in seeking out business opportunities with the ability to think outside of the norm
