I'm currently working closely with a Global Insurer on the appointment of a Senior Marine Claims Adjuster for their team in London. This is a newly created role due to growth of the book and will join a small, but technical claims team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage a book of international claims for the London Marine team with a predominant focus on Hull and Cargo.
- Ensure timely claim settlement and establish appropriate reserves.
- Communicate with Brokers and insured parties to track claim progress.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external outsourced partners (TPA's, Lawyers, Loss Adjusters)
- Represent the company at external market meetings.
It's essential you have previous experience handling marine claims, specifically with exposure to Hull and Cargo.
