An established insurer is looking for a Qualified Actuary to join their pricing team as a Senior Pricing Actuary, working across all lines of business.
The responsibilities of this role will include developing and analysing pricing strategies. The candidate will keep track of any complex price changes and the impacts that then follow and ensuring that the pricing strategies are on par with, or surpassing that of the insurer's competitors.
As well as this, the role will require the candidate to often liaise with stakeholders and other members of staff, mentoring and leading more junior colleagues and thus will call for great communications skills.
The ideal candidate will have numerous years of experience within the General Insurance industry, with a focus on Pricing within Commercial Lines. The candidate will be a fully qualified Actuary, with experience in managing over more junior individuals. The candidate should have knowledge of tools such as: SAS, R, SQL, Radar and Earnix.
