A leading insurer is looking to add to their Actuarial Team a the Senior Analyst level. This would be an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous GI reserving experience to step into a more senior role and progress in their career.
The role will involve the review of UK GAAP Best Estimates, calculating SII TP's, monitoring actual vs expected claims and producing quarterly/annual reports. There will be the expectation that the successful candidate will peer review the work of more junior Analysts and support in their development through mentoring, though there will be no requirement for line management.
The successful candidate should have a good technical skill set with VBA experience being a must, strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and the appropriate actuarial knowledge in regards to reserving techniques and Solvency II.
