Title: Software Delivery Manager
Day rate: £550 - £600

Eames Consulting are partnered with a prestigious finance brand that wish to endeavour into the frontier of tech to drive the business forward!
I am in search of a tech savvy Software Delivery Manager who enjoys problem solving and consulting with stakeholders to present solutions. The project is brown field and has a length of up to 24 months, so it is perfect for those that enjoy longer term contracts.
If you enjoy complex environments and you have a solid coding base, then this is a good role for you. This project is delivery based and away from BAU, which offers a diverse environment.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Agile practitioner with a minimum of 5 years experience of organising teams to deliver large scale, complex strategic projects.
- A minimum of three years Scrum Master experience running multiple software development teams.
- Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown/Burn Up techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling issues/bugs)
- The ability to distinguish between what 'is Scrum' what is 'not Scrum'
- Experience of being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed)
- Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile : XP, Kanban, Crystal
- Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Experience of delivering software in a formal regime using source control management and controlled gates with relevant artefacts to support design, quality and support.
- Experience of working in a mid-sized corporate environment, successfully aligning solutions appropriately with wider roadmaps, architecture and other initiatives
