Software Developer

City Centre - Manchester - 3 times per week on site

Are you an experienced and passionate C# Developer with a knack for creating robust and scalable software solutions? We are seeking a talented Junior-Mid Level C# Developer to join our growing team and play a key role in the development of cutting-edge applications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using C# and the .NET framework.

  2. Message Queues: Work with Rabbit MQ to implement efficient and reliable communication between distributed systems.

  3. Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our applications.

  4. Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.

  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  6. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  2. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a C# Developer.

  3. Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
    • SQL
    • Rabbit MQ - not essential
    • Cloud experience - not essential
  4. Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  6. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
