Our client is a leading technical consultancy who have secured a major piece of work with one of the largest insurance firms in the country. As they build out the senior delivery team, an opportunity has arisen for a senior Technical Architect to join the implementation.
You will offer a background of application development and design, having progressed from hands on coding into a senior technician able to offer expertise on best practice for software implementations. Whilst an out of the box solution, this product will require extensive tailoring to the clients specific requirements for which you will own the technical specifications.
Candidates will have at least ten years in IT architecture operating in large, complex enterprises. You will have worked with the Guidewire Insurance Suite extensively in the past and ideally have experience of the ClaimCenter module.
Your technical skillset will include:
- Proficient understanding of DevOps methods and tools.
- Knowledge of Message Integration Pattern and messaging technologies such as JMS, IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS etc.
- Experience in using Integration Technologies and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) products such as MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Oracle Service Bus etc.
- Knowledge of batch processing and scheduling technologies such as TWS, BMC Control M etc.
- Knowledge of Database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 etc.
- Knowledge of existing JEE frameworks such as Spring, Axis 2 for developing Web Services and REST Services.
